Scams make up the majority of my niche where the object is to convince people to spend their money and in return the product (if any) is so outrageous and worthless right as the person gets it they know they have been scammed. There are a few different ways to tell if a website is selling a scam, but sometimes the scammer will make it sound so good that even though the little voice in the back of your head is screaming at you to stop you can’t help, but believe that if you buy this “turn key” website or brand new system you will be rich next month. I will explain thoroughly what is the difference between legit work at home and scams. I will give you many different ways to tell if a website is trying to rip you off or if they are offering a legitimate way for you to make money online at home.
First let’s get into the different kinds of scams and how to tell if what you are looking at is a scam. What I tell all my readers on my make money blog is if the website tells you that they can make you rich in any amount of time less than a year they are lying. No one online went from broke to rich in a couple of months not knowing anything about online business. If you want to make money online then expect to take a year learning and studying. You will need to learn the ins and outs of internet marketing and online business before you begin seeing payoff for you labor. The second thing I want you to be wary of is good affiliate programs 99% of the time don’t charge when signing up and this includes shipping and handling. Every program that has paid me a significant amount of money did not charge me to sign up and did not charge me to make money. So don’t pay when you sign up for a program and if you can’t seem to find a program anywhere look at the link “how to make money online” I have many that don’t charge anything to sign up. You can also sign up for Google adsense which does not charge to sign up and pays you for every visitor that clicks on the ads they put up on your site. The last thing I want to talk about is the “turn key” websites. This is a joke and do not every buy a pre built website. If you want a free website and do not want to pay anything or learn how to code go with a tripod website, a blogger blog, or a squidoo page. These are all free and are not the same as a copied website that everyone else has bought. These turn key websites are rip offs and copies which Google and other major search engines will look down on.
Now lets get into what free online business opportunities look like. First when you run into a program search online if you find at least 5 people who have had good experience with the website then it will probably be a good site. If they don’t charge then the only thing you may be wasting is time which is not to bad and usually worth at least a shot. If they have a big name such as amazon or google who both have make money opportunities then your good to go. Google has adsense where they place ads on your website and amazon has an affiliate program where you sale items (usually books) on your website or blog and they pay you a portion. Anyway I hope you have a good idea of what to look for when trying to decide if a program is a scam or not.
